Antoine's first from many trips to France

We have finally arrived in France after 11 hours in the plane and a very happy and curious baby!

A few words on our trip:

Antoine slept a total of 5 hours in a 24 hours period (2.5 hours in the plane), and 7 hours the next day. He was awake from 1 am until 4 am this morning! Very tiring for us, but he has been wonderful the entire time. I thought that he would have a complete meltdown from the lack of sleep like a bunch of other babies on the plane, but he was just very happy to hang out and check out what was happening. He would scream from joy seating in the bassinet because people were playing peek-a-boo with him. Everyone was just so nice with him.

We gave him cheerios on the way up and on the way down, with some sips of water. One advice would to be to keep a big bottle of water the entire time and go refill it as often as needed. He was very thirsty as were we.

We had no problem going through security. I had a sealed bottle of water with 5 jars in a ziplog and they didn't say anything. Antoine did not have diarrhea nor did he vomit. I had way too many clothes and diapers, but better be safe than sorry and I would do the same thing again.

He is going crazy at my parents' house with my family, all the space, places to discover; the garden...he is having a blast. He woke up screaming in his bedroom and he slept the rest of the night with us because he was crying too hard even when we moved the crib to our bedroom. He didn't say anything for his other naps and for the beginning of his 2nd night. We shall see how this one goes.

That's about it. I am exhausted and I need to sleep. So nice to have everybody doing everything around us :-).... I am enjoying this very very very much!!!
